superb location ample parking spacious room
The hotel's location is superb, right on the seafront and close to many restaurants. the room was super clean and quite spacious. The provided tea and coffee bags were a nice touch. ample parking spaces near the hotel were really convenient. it was easy to come and go as i pleased without a worry.
The bathroom was a bit small! a larger person might find it difficult to move around easily. the shower pressure was also quite weak. The shower head sprayed water everywhere.

The double room included complimentary cosmetics and fresh towels daily. the room also had new furnishings and a comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's rest, i slept soundly. the room was clean and newly refurbished. Everything looked fresh.

charming seafront gem!
cheerful staff reasonable prices
I discovered the reception bar open to everyone, not just overnight guests. the space felt airy and comfortable. the staff were cheerful and helpful. And my black sheep session ale was beautifully chilled! the reasonable prices beat some local pubs. plus, quiet music plays on a discreet sound system.
i noticed the decor throughout the building looks a bit tired. the rooms lack air conditioning, which might be a concern during warmer months. the building needs a modern touch in some areas.

The bar offers many quality drinks, including a refreshing session ale. they have sunday carvery offerings. They are a real delight. the prices for both drinks and food are very reasonable.

The staff were friendly and available. They answered queries quickly. one staff member recommended buying only the freshest fish to cook it just before serving. the night watchman was very good. He operated the bar late.

my room was comfortable and clean with easy access. the room was well equipped. the bathroom looked very nice and more modern than the rest of the suite. my room offered a lovely sea view.

the hotel is located right on the seafront, close to the station. it is opposite the bandstand, a nice bonus! parking was available and handy. the hotel offers easy access to town within a short walk.

Really good Experience by the Sea
cute atmosphere helpful staff special treat
The reception and bar staff created a cute atmosphere (the waffle cockapoo was a delight!). I found the reception staff very helpful. The service made my weekend away a special treat.
The bathroom design seemed slightly dated.

My room was spotlessly clean and quite comfortable. The housekeeper made up the room daily. The tea tray was replenished with biscuits, tea, and coffee. I found my pajamas neatly folded under the pillow each day.

The staff were very attentive and cute. They went out of their way to. I observed excellent customer service from everyone I encountered. They were very helpful .

Breakfast was beautiful and freshly cooked. There were several choices of areas to sit while taking in seaside views. I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning with excellent service. The tasty sausages were nice.

The ballroom offers ample space and freedom to decorate as desired. The hotel has a great bar staff. There is also a lovely selection of drinks and cocktails. Prices at the bar were reasonable.

The hotel is right opposite the bandstand. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to a live band. The shopping area is only a short walk away (very convenient!). The sea views are amazing.
